Drivers
Hungry As is a listing and booking service. The delivery contract is between you and the driver. The driver runs their own business, sets their own price, chooses which jobs to take, and chooses their own hours and route. You choose the driver from the list, cheapest first. The delivery fee is paid into the driver's own account. Hungry As does not hold it. A driver is not removed for declining a job or for the price they set.
Reviews, photos and complaints
Reviews and photos are shared by your friends and reflect their own opinions and experiences. Hungry As does not check or guarantee the accuracy of any review or image. Please consider how reliable each review is and make your own decision.
Anyone can complain about a review, a photo, a profile picture or a comment, including a restaurant or a person named in it who cannot see the post. Hungry As hides that content as soon as the complaint is received, before anyone assesses it. The person who posted it can respond, edit or delete it. It is shown again only when both sides agree, or when an admin restores it and records the reasons. If the poster does not respond, it stays hidden. Contact details are not shared unless both people opt in. Hungry As does not check reviews in advance and does not warrant that a review, a photo or a comment is true.
A friend's review or photo is shown only beside the restaurant or the dish you are already looking at. There is no feed, no likes, and no list of people to follow. An under-16 uses a parent-managed profile, and a friend link needs that parent's approval. Those reviews are not in search and not in the ordering API.
A complaint needs a type, what is wrong, the outcome you want, an email, and a declaration that it is true. The post is hidden from everyone except the person who wrote it and Hungry As admin. They see “Hidden pending a complaint”. Both sides can write on the complaint. Messages are checked, and a report blocks further messages from that person. If the poster does not respond within the time an admin has set (14 days unless changed), the post stays hidden. If you disagree, an admin can be asked to decide. The default is that it stays hidden. An admin can uphold that, remove the post, or restore it with reasons. That decision is logged.
The complaint record, including when it was received and when the post was hidden, is kept for 7 years. A post hidden under a complaint is kept for 12 months so it can be produced for a court order. It is not deleted on a timer during that window.
